The folks at Cooper Ford had an unexpected — and adorable — addition to their workload today after a rescue mission unfolded right in their service bay.

The dealership shared the happy story on their Facebook page, a customer pulled in after hearing some strange noises coming from inside their Ford Escape. But this wasn’t your typical engine rattle or loose belt — it was the unmistakable sound of tiny, panicked meows!

The Cooper Ford Service team quickly sprang into action, dropping their tools and turning their attention to the vehicle. With patience, teamwork, and a lot of gentle coaxing, they were able to safely retrieve a frightened but unharmed kitten from the engine compartment.

In a heartwarming twist, the customers decided to adopt the little hitchhiker and have named him “Cooper” — a nod to both his rescuers and his unexpected pit stop.

Ok Hats off to the Cooper Ford crew for their quick thinking and compassion. Cooper the kitten is now safe, sound, and already revving up for his next adventure — this time, from the comfort of his new family’s lap.
