An abandoned house went up in flames Tuesday afternoon along Doubs Chapel Road outside of Eastwood.

Fire crews were called to the 800 block of Doubs Chapel Road, where the first arriving unit reported heavy smoke coming from the structure.

Authorities shut down Doubs Chapel Road between Highway 15-501 and Murdocksville Road so fire trucks could set up for water supply and safely battle the blaze.

No injuries were reported, and the home was confirmed to be abandoned, officials said.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
