Vehicle overturns in Highway 211 crash

Multiple people were injured in a two-vehicle T-bone collision that caused one of the vehicles to overturned.

The crash happened at the intersection of N.C. Highway 211 and Page Road on Wednesday around 12:15 p.m.

Authorities say the vehicles collided in the eastbound lanes of 211. A sedan with two occupants T-bones a Honda Civic with two occupants. The impact caused the Civic to run off the road and overturn in a ditch.

All occupants involved in the crash were evaluated at the scene by medics.

The eastbound lanes were reduced to one lane, and traffic traveling along Page Road was detoured.

Pinehurst Police did not release information on which vehicle caused the crash.
