A two-vehicle crash at Airport Road and North Knoll Road in Southern Pines sent one vehicle into a tree line and left one lane of Airport Road blocked.

The crash involved a GMC SUV and a Chevrolet SUV, which collided in a T-bone collision at the intersection.

The impact pushed the Chevrolet into a nearby tree line, where it struck and broke a tree. The tree then fell into the roadway, adding to the obstruction along Airport Road.

No major injuries were reported. One lane of Airport Road was blocked following the collision.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
