Several employees and two patrons were forced into a bathroom during an armed robbery at Mac’s Breakfast Anytime in Aberdeen Friday evening, according to Aberdeen police.
The robbery happened shortly before 7:30 p.m. Police said a suspect carrying a gun entered the restaurant through the back door.
During the robbery, the suspect took one person’s phone and a money bag. Details about how much money was in the bag were not immediately available.
The stolen phone was found a short time later in a nearby storm drain, police said.
No injuries were reported.

No connection between the two incidents has been confirmed.
