A two-vehicle crash along Union Church Road at Grady Road just after 10:30 a.m. Sunday sent four people to the hospital and temporarily shut down the roadway as crews worked the scene.
According to troopers, the crash happened when both vehicles were traveling toward Vass on Union Church Road. Investigators said a third vehicle, not involved in the crash, was attempting to turn left onto Grady Road.

A Toyota Tacoma was directly behind the turning vehicle and came to a stop. A Hyundai SUV, which was traveling behind the Tacoma, failed to slow down and crashed into the back of the truck, troopers said.
Officials confirmed that four people were transported to the hospital, with two occupants from each vehicle. There is no word on the extent of their injuries.
Union Church Road was closed for a period of time during the investigation and cleanup but has since reopened.
Troopers said the driver of the Hyundai was cited for failure to reduce speed.
