Outside fire spreads to abandoned car in Aberdeen

An outside fire on Allen Lane in Aberdeen quickly spread to nearby woods, and engulfed an abandoned vehicle.

According to scanner traffic, dispatchers said a nearby homeowner called to report the fire, and said it was approaching their house.

Pinebluff Fire & Rescue arrived to the scene to a wooded area that contained an abandoned car in flames.

The fire was quickly knocked down, and no building structures were damaged.

The Pinebluff Fire Department says the homeowner was burning close to the woods, and the fire spread.
