Aberdeen police are investigating a reported break-in at Mac’s Breakfast Anytime after a manager arrived early Saturday and discovered the restaurant’s cash register was missing.
Officers were called to the restaurant just after midnight Saturday morning.
According to dispatch audio, a manager arrived at the business and reported that the cash register had been stolen.
Moore County News was on the scene, where Aberdeen police had placed crime scene tape across the entrances to the restaurant’s parking lot while officers investigated.
No further details, including how entry was made or whether police have identified a suspect, had been released at the time of publication.
