The driver of a Dodge Ram Heavy Duty truck escaped serious injury after a powerful collision on Highway 24-27 near Cameron.
According to troopers, the male driver was attempting to turn left from the highway onto Dairymple Road when a Peterbilt heavy-duty utility truck crashed into the passenger side of the Dodge.
The impact caused the passenger side of the Dodge to cave inward.





Firefighters closed one lane of Highway 24-27 at Dairymple Road while the crash was investigated and cleared.
Both drivers were not injured, and both were the only occupants of the vehicles. The driver of the Dodge was cited for failure to yield, according to Troopers.
