Car crashes into wood line, driver charged with DWI

The driver of a Nissan Murano escaped injury after crashing into a tree and some brush along Addor Road.

The incident happened around 10:45 p.m. on Monday, less than a mile from the county line.

Troopers say the driver was traveling towards Hoke County when he missed a curve, crossed the center line and into the wood line.

The male driver refused medical treatment at the scene. Troopers performed a field sobriety test, and charged the driver with DWI.

Pinebluff Fire & Rescue closed Addor Road to one lane while the crash was cleared. Aberdeen Fire & Rescue also responded, but was cancelled shortly after getting on scene.
