Animal shelter hits capacity, adoption fees waived for limited time

The Moore County Animal Shelter in Carthage has reached full capacity, and is in urgent need of adoptions for animals.

Officials announced the shelter reached capacity on Tuesday and that for a limited time, adoption fees are being waived.

“We have many wonderful dogs, cats, and other pets eagerly waiting for their forever homes,” the county shelter said in a press release.

The Moore County Animal Shelter is located at 5235 U.S. 501 in Carthage.
