Aberdeen Police make felony arrest after disturbance at local business

The Aberdeen Police Department arrested Joshua Kross Ratliff, 26, on Monday after a local business reported that Ratliff was harassing customers inside the business.

According to a press release from Aberdeen Police, Ratliff appeared to be under the influence of a substance when officers arrived. Once Aberdeen Police searched Ratliff, they found a handgun, Oxycodone and other drug paraphernalia on him.

Ratliff has been charged with possession of a firearm by a felon, carrying a concealed handgun, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. In addition, he was charged with felony probation violation and parole violation. He was booked into the Moore County Detention Center under a $25,000 secure bond for the initial charges, and $10,000 secured bond for the additional felony charge.
