Two-vehicle crash slows traffic on Highway 24-27 near Robbins

Published on

A two-vehicle crash on NC Highway 24-27 in front of Tacos Guerrero temporarily reduced traffic to one lane Tuesday afternoon, according to authorities.

Troopers say the driver of a Dodge Ram rear-ended a Nissan Versa as both vehicles traveled eastbound. The driver of the Versa had slowed to turn left into a driveway when the truck failed to stop in time, colliding with the car.

Each vehicle’s driver was the sole occupant. The driver of the Versa was transported to the hospital for evaluation, while the driver of the Dodge Ram was treated at the scene and did not require further medical attention.

The crash occurred just outside Robbins town limits, and traffic was reduced to one lane while crews investigated and cleared the scene.
