A T-bone collision near the intersection of Highway 15-501 and Bryant Road closed one lane of the highway on Saturday evening. The crash happened just before 6 p.m. in front of the Trax store.

One of the vehicles crashed through a wooden fence and hit another vehicle that was parked in a business lot.

Troopers investigating the crash say the driver of a Mazda 3 was turning left out of the store onto 15-501 back towards Carthage into the path of a Toyota Highlander. The Highlander collided with the Mazda in the driver’s door. The impact caused both vehicles to go off the road, and the Mazda crashing through a wooden fence and into the parked vehicle.

Both drivers were evaluated at the scene by medics, the driver of the Highlander was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
