First responders all around Moore County are dealing with multiple single-vehicle crashes as road conditions get worse.

There have been several crashes reported in the West End, Eastwood, Carthage, Vass, and Southern Pines areas.

Moore County News visited the scene of an SUV that slid off Highway 15-501 near Little River. The SUV went down an embankment hitting several trees.

A truck also slid off the road along Beulah Hill Church Road near Hardee Branch Road.

Another crash involved an SUV that overturned on Highway 211 in Eagle Springs.

Heavy snow has started to blanket the roadways in the Carthage area around 3:45 p.m.

It does not sound like anyone has been seriously hurt in the crashes reported so far.

Authorities ask that if you do not have to be on the roads, please stay home.
