The driver of a Toyota Tacoma avoided serious injury when his truck overturned in a crash.

First responders were called to Talc Mine Road and Spies Road outside of Robbins around 3 p.m. Thursday after reports of an overturned truck partially blocking the roadway.

Authorities say the driver veered off the right side of the road, struck a ditch, and overturned. The truck eventually came to rest in an upright position.

The driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
