A midday crash in front of the Sheetz gas station on Monroe Street in Carthage caused traffic disruptions Thursday.

Carthage Police say the wreck happened just before noon when a Ford Explorer attempted to pull out of the Sheetz parking lot and collided with a westbound Ford Escape.

Both drivers were evaluated at the scene for minor injuries.

The crash partially blocked the westbound and center lanes of Monroe Street as emergency crews were on the scene.
