T-bone crash temporarily closes Midland Road near traffic circle

Traffic on Midland Road was interrupted Monday Morning after a t-bone collision at Airport Road in Pinehurst.

The westbound lanes of Midland Rd were blocked for several minutes until crews from the Pinehurst Fire Department could get the two vehicles involved in the crash pushed to the side of the road.

Pinehurst Police tell Moore County News on scene, a Honda Accord was turning left from Airport Road onto Midland Road. A Nissan Kicks collided with the Honda on the drivers side door.

Both vehicles sustained moderate damage. The occupants of the Nissan were transported to the hospital by Moore County EMS, their injuries were said to be minor.
