Another t-bone crash has occurred at the entrance to Harris Teeter on Airport Road in Southern Pines.

Southern Pines Fire & Rescue responded to the scene at approximately 5:15 p.m., arriving to two vehicles with deployed airbags.

According to Southern Pines Police, a Ford Fiesta was traveling on Airport Road towards Whispering Pines, when an Acura Integra pulled out in front of it from Mill Creek Road. The Fiesta slammed into the driver’s side door of the Integra.

Both drivers suffered minor injuries and were transported to the hospital by Moore County EMS.

Today’s incident marks the second t-bone crash at this intersection that Moore County News has reported on in the last 11 days.

On April 19, the driver of a Hyundai sedan was pinned in her vehicle until crews were able to cut the door and help her get out of the car.
