A serious crash involving two vehicles partially blocked the intersection of U.S. Highway 15-501 and Carolina Green Parkway, the entrance to Target and BJ’s Wholesale Club, on Tuesday evening.

The crash happened shortly after 6:30 p.m. and involved a Chevy Silverado and a Honda CR-V, according to first responders.

The CR-V sustained heavy damage, including a smashed hood, shattered windshield and jammed driver’s side door. The Silverado also had significant front-end damage.

Emergency crews closed the Highway 15-501 entrance to the shopping center while they investigated and cleared the scene.

Authorities have not released information about injuries or what caused the crash.
