One person airlifted after rollover crash near Cameron

UNC Carolina Air Care flew one person to the hospital after a single-vehicle crash on N.C. 24-27 outside of Cameron on Sunday morning.

Cypress Pointe Fire and Rescue posted on their Facebook page that the person had to be extricated from the vehicle, and that one lane of the highway was closed during the incident.

The vehicle could be seen on its side against trees off the shoulder of the road.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
