No injuries in crash on Hoffman Road

Published on

A two vehicle crash closed a lane of Hoffman Road in West End on Friday morning.

A white Nissan collided into the back of a Chevrolet pick-up truck near the intersection of McDuffie Lane. The driver of the pick-up tells Moore County News that an animal ran out in front of him and he put on his brakes to avoid hitting it. That’s when the Nissan slammed into the rear of the Chevrolet.

Hoffman Road was reduced to one lane of travel while crews worked the scene. No one was injured.
