Minor injuries after vehicle flips on Highway 24-27

A man sustained minor injuries to his hand after the Saturn SUV he was driving flipped at the intersection of N.C. Highway 24-27 and Big Oak Church Road.

Investigators say the 21-year-old male driver was traveling eastbound on the highway when he lost control, flipping the SUV.

Traffic on Highway 24-27 was not impacted. The driver was treated at the scene for an injury to his left hand.
