Crash in Pinehurst closes NC 211 East

A two-vehicle crash caused N.C. Highway 211 to be closed at Memorial Drive on Monday afternoon.

The two vehicles involved were a Dodge Ram and a Porsche Cayenne. The Cayenne had damage to its front passenger side, and a tire was blown by the impact. The Dodge appeared to have damage to its rear passenger side.

The collision caused the eastbound lanes of the highway to be completely shut down for approximately 25 minutes. Authorities detoured eastbound drivers onto Memorial Drive.

According to Pinehurst Police Department, no one was injured. No other details were provided.
