A two-vehicle crash briefly closed part of U.S. Highway 15-501 at the Monroe Street crossover Saturday evening.

The accident happened just before 6:15 p.m., when police say an older model Ford F-150 attempted to cross 15-501 but failed to yield to an oncoming Dodge Ram. The Ram struck the driver’s side of the F-150 in a T-bone collision.

Two occupants of the F-150 and three occupants of the Ram were evaluated at the scene by emergency responders. Fortunately, no one required transport to the hospital.

Authorities closed the southbound lane of Highway 15-501 while crews worked to clear the scene. The road has since reopened.
