A vehicle crash has closed Highway 24-27 just outside of Cameron after a car struck a power pole Sunday night.
The crash happened just before 9:30 p.m. near the intersection of Nickens Road and involved a Pontiac Solstice. The vehicle struck the power pole on the driver’s side door, bringing the pole down and leaving it blocking the roadway.






The driver, a woman who was the only person in the vehicle, was not injured in the crash.
Highway 24-27 remains closed in the area while emergency crews work to clear the scene and address the downed power pole.
Details about what led to the crash were not immediately available.
