Car crashes into mower along N.C. 22

Road crews mowing the grass along N.C. Highway 22 was startled on Wednesday afternoon after a car ran into the back of their tractor.

The collision happened at 4:45 p.m. north of Putnam Glendon Road near Highfalls.

The mower operator was checked out at the scene by Moore County EMS, and was not seriously injured.
