Two people were evaluated at the scene of a two-vehicle crash on South Henley Street at West Michigan Avenue shortly after 6 p.m. Saturday.
Both vehicles had front-end damage, and their airbags deployed. One vehicle traveled nearly 500 feet from the point of impact before coming to a stop in a ditch at South Henley Street and West Iowa Avenue.
A large debris field caused South Henley Street to be closed in the area of the crash.
No details about how the crash happened have been released.
