Moore County deputies investigate shooting after home damaged by gunfire

The Moore County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting after a home on Michaels Loop Drive was struck by a bullet just before 1 a.m. on June 30.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a report of shots fired on Michaels Loop Drive, off Beulah Hill Church Road near Juniper Lake Road outside of West End. When deputies arrived, they found the home had been struck by gunfire.

Investigators also found evidence indicating that a vehicle may have been damaged during the shooting. However, that vehicle has not been located.

The investigation remains ongoing, and no additional information has been released.
