The Hoke County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help as deputies continue searching for a missing juvenile who disappeared after school Friday.

According to investigators, Elijah Bland left his home in the 100 block of Claras Place around 7:30 a.m. Friday morning to go to school. Authorities said he attended school as normal throughout the day, but never returned home afterward.

The juvenile was last seen around 3:30 p.m. Friday at the high school, according to the sheriff’s office.

Officials said Elijah was wearing a green shirt and camouflage pants when he was last seen.

The sheriff’s office said deputies and detectives have spent time checking several locations and following up on leads in an effort to find him. As of Saturday, the investigation remained active.

Anyone who may have seen Elijah Bland or knows where he may be is urged to call 911 immediately. Information can also be provided directly to Detective Locklear with the Hoke County Sheriff’s Office at 910-875-5111.
