Deputies arrest suspect in mid-morning robbery at Seven Lakes bank

Published on

A woman is in custody after deputies say she robbed the Truist Bank in the Seven Lakes community late Tuesday morning, according to Sheriff Ronnie Fields.

Fields said deputies responded to the bank around 11 a.m. after receiving a report of a robbery. Witnesses told investigators that a female entered the bank, demanded money, and claimed she was armed with a firearm. She then fled on foot after taking cash from a clerk.

The bank closed for the remainder of the day while investigators processed the scene.

Deputies quickly gathered evidence and identified a suspect. Fields said investigators located the woman shortly before 1 p.m. and took her into custody without incident.

Additional details, including the suspect’s name and the charges she will face, will be released once the formal processing is complete.
