Crash at Airport Road traffic circle slows traffic Thursday night

Published on

A two-vehicle crash at the Airport Road traffic circle slowed traffic Thursday night.

It happened just before 10 p.m. when troopers say a Honda CRV was traveling east on Airport Road and entered the circle. A Honda Pilot was already traveling south through the roundabout on Highway 22 when the CRV failed to yield and pulled in, causing the crash.

Highway 22 east was blocked for about 30 minutes while crews worked to clear the scene.

No one was hurt in the crash, but the driver of the CRV was cited for failure to yield.
