Crash causes traffic back up in Seven Lakes

Published on

A two-vehicle collision caused a traffic back up in an already congested area in Seven Lakes.

First responders were dispatched just after 2:30 p.m. on Friday to Highway 211 near Seven Lakes Drive. Once on scene, firefighters partially closed the eastbound lane, using the center turn lane to navigate motorists around the crash.

Troopers say a Toyota 4Runner was attempting to turn left out of a business parking lot onto Highway 211. Vehicles were backed up from the stop light, and the Toyota’s driver was unable to see approaching traffic. Another driver waved the Toyota’s driver to cross, when a Hyundai Tucson in the center lane was approaching. The Toyota collided with the Hyundai on the passenger side.

No one was hurt in the crash.
