A vehicle ended up in a ditch after striking a deer on Glendon-Carthage Road near Brady Road.

Carthage Fire & Rescue arrived to the scene just before 8:45 p.m. on Monday to a Nissan sedan with heavy damage to the front end. The car was traveling northbound on Glendon-Carthage Road, and went off the left side of the road. A large deer was located on the other side of the road.

Firefighters closed the southbound lane of Glendon-Carthage Road, and directed traffic around the crash scene.

Troopers investigating the crash say the driver was on the road with a suspended license, and was not injured in the collision.
