One airlifted after rollover crash near Eagle Springs

Published on

The driver of a Honda Accord was airlifted after a rollover crash on Mt Carmel Road on Thursday night.

First responders arrived on the scene just north of Bethlehem Church Road to the Accord on its passenger side. The driver was able to get out of the vehicle on his own before emergency crews arrived.

A landing zone was set up nearby and the driver was flown to a trauma center as a precaution.

Troopers investigating the collision say the driver lost control, went over the centerline and into the tree line. The Accord crashed through several small pine trees before coming to a rest on its side.

The crash is still under investigation since the Troopers were unable to speak with the driver before he was flown out.
