3 injured in early morning rollover crash near Cameron

An early morning crash near Cameron sent three people to the hospital Tuesday. The crash happened just before 5:30 a.m. on N.C. Highway 24-27 at Bass Road.

Cypress Pointe Fire & Rescue posted on their Facebook page that the crash involved one vehicle, and that all three occupants had to be removed with the assistance of fire fighters. It appears the Jeep involved in the crash also hit a tree.

The injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.
