A woman was transported to the hospital after crashing deep into a wooded area, and being trapped in her overturned pick-up truck.

The crash happened at the intersection of Union Church Road and Shaw Road in Cameron.

Firefighters from Cypress Pointe Fire & Rescue were able to free the driver by cutting out the windshield. She was then transported from wooded area on the back of an ATV.

On the scene there was a long stretch of tire marks running approximately 100 yards from the stop sign of Shaw Road, into a wooded area where the truck is on its side.
