One person was transported to the hospital by Moore County EMS after a t-bone collision between a Ford pick-up and a Chevy pick-up.

The crash happened at the intersection of Mt. Carmel Road and Bethlehem Church Road around 4:45 p.m.

Crews from Robbins Fire & Rescue worked to get two people out from the Chevy truck, that went down an embankment and into a wood line. Eagle Springs Fire Department arrived and maintained traffic control and helped clean up the debris.

N.C. State Highway Patrol investigated the crash, and tells Moore County News the driver of the Ford stopped at the intersection, but proceeded through as the Chevy was passing through the intersection. The force of the impact knocked the Chevy off the road and down the embankment.
