Unoccupied truck hits house in Pinehurst

A pick-up truck that was unoccupied collided into a house on Wheeling Drive in Pinehurst on Tuesday.

According to authorities at the scene, a truck was being jump started at a residence before 5:30 p.m. The truck’s parking brake failed, and the truck went rolling down a hill, through a fence, and crashed into a house next door.

Luckily, no one was injured during the incident, and damage to the vehicle and house was minor.
