Two injured in motorcycle crash at Carthage intersection

Two people were taken to the hospital after a motorcycle crash Monday evening in Carthage.

The crash happened around 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of McReynolds Street and Old Glendon Road. According to Carthage Police, the motorcycle was traveling east into town when a Dodge Dart pulled out from Old Glendon Road, causing the collision.

Both occupants of the motorcycle sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were taken by ambulance to Moore Regional Hospital. The driver of the Dodge Dart was not hurt and was cited for failure to yield.
