Shooting victim airlifted after vehicle is shot into

Published on

An unidentified male was airlifted to a hospital after their car was struck by gunfire and ended up along Highway 5 near Blake Blvd. Authorities confirmed that the shooting did not take place at the location where the vehicle was stopped.

Police had secured and taped off the vehicle along the highway, and sheriff investigators were later seen along Pee Dee Road in Aberdeen, searching for any evidence that might be connected to the shooting, though they could not confirm that the incident occurred at that location.

Officials stress that while details remain sparse, this is a developing story. More information will be released as it becomes available.
