Emergency crews responded to a serious three-vehicle crash Friday afternoon on N.C. 24/27 at Line Road in Cameron.
The crash was dispatched around 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 4, and involved a total of five patients.
Cypress Pointe Fire & Rescue crews had to remove the doors from one of the vehicles to gain access to one of the patients.
Cypress Pointe Fire & Rescue, Benhaven Fire Department, Moore County EMS, Harnett County EMS, the Harnett County Sheriff’s Office and the North Carolina State Highway Patrol responded to the scene.
There was no immediate word on the extent of the patients’ injuries or whether all five were transported to the hospital or if some were only evaluated at the scene.
The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation.
