Driver runs stop sign, causes T-bone crash at Joel Road intersection

A two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Joel Road and Vass-Carthage Road sent one person to the hospital with minor injuries Saturday.

According to state troopers, the driver of a Toyota sedan ran a ustop sign along Joel Road before crashing into a Saturn Sky traveling on Vass-Carthage Road toward Vass. The impact resulted in a T-bone collision, causing significant damage to both vehicles.

Emergency crews responded to the scene, transporting one individual to the hospital.

The driver of the Toyota was cited for failure to stop at stop sign.
