A single-vehicle crash temporarily reduced traffic to one lane on Lobelia Road (Highway 609) near Byrd Road just after 9:30 a.m. Friday, after a Ford Fiesta overturned and landed upright.
According to state troopers, the driver — who was the vehicle’s only occupant — lost control, crossed the center line, and then overcorrected. The car struck an embankment and rolled before coming to a stop upright off the shoulder of the road.

Fortunately, the driver walked away uninjured.
Traffic was reduced to one lane for a short time while the vehicle was cleared and troopers investigated.
