Two people were taken to the hospital after a crash involving two vehicles Thursday evening in Carthage.
The crash happened around 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of Monroe Street and Glendon Carthage Road.




According to Carthage Police, a Toyota was traveling south on Glendon Carthage Road and crossed over Monroe Street when a Honda heading north tried to turn left onto Monroe Street, pulling into the Toyota’s path.
The impact caused the Honda to spin and strike a power pole. Two occupants from the Honda were transported to the hospital for treatment. Their conditions were not immediately released.
Police said no one inside the Toyota was hurt.
Carthage firefighters directed traffic through the intersection while crews worked to clear the scene.
