Aberdeen Police are investigating an apparent drive-by shooting that sent officers and deputies swarming a neighborhood late Tuesday night.

It happened just after 11 p.m. along the 1100 block of Keyser Street. When officers arrived, they found nearly a dozen bullet holes marking the front of a home.

Crime scene tape blocked off a section of Keyser Street as investigators searched for evidence. The Moore County Sheriff’s Department also responded to assist, including K9 Anna, who was brought in to help with the search.

Authorities confirmed to Moore County News that at least one person was inside the home when the shooting happened, but there were no reports of injuries.

The incident remains under investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact Aberdeen Police.
