2-vehicle crash causes traffic delays near UPHS

A two-vehicle crash is causing traffic delays in the area of Union Pines High School on Wednesday. The collision happened at the intersection of Grady Road around 4:30 p.m.

Troopers says a Ford Edge was traveling on Union Church Road towards Carthage when a Dodge Challenger attempted to turn left from Grady Road. The Edge collided with the driver’s side of the Challenger.

Neither driver was injured in the crash.

Both lanes of Union Church Road were blocked. Moore County Schools Police along with Carthage Police directed traffic through the intersection around the crash using part of the Grady Road lanes.
